I’m actually still a ways off from finishing, but since I do have something to share, I figured it might be fun to start a thread about it, and maybe if I’m lucky learn from your feedback about it, ala Nearness thread. I finished a “version zero” a few months ago while working with for LCRP, and I’ve been slowly working towards a version one. The goal is for me to learn more about working in Max and with digital audio signals in general, and also to make something that I’ll enjoy using in my own music. Hi! I’ve been very slowly building a polysynth in Max. Spend another tenner, get MiRack, run it in Drambo and you have more sound manipulation capabilities than you could ever possibly need.Screen Shot at 21.09.47.jpg 1430×1514 313 KB

The sound engine isn’t the best I’ve ever heard but it’s not bad, just a little sterile (by nature).Īll this got me thinking though, value for money wise, I really can’t think of a signal piece of hardware or software than can beat it (excluding free shit obvz). not eeeverything can be modulated via cv but everything can be p-locked), it’s by no means perfect. There is definitely some quirks to it (eg. I’m basically just waiting for multitrack recording and it’ll prob become my main “DAW”. I’ve integrated it with my hardware rig a couple times which was too much fun. The amount of updates (and general love and attention) it gets is insane, they added new “analog” filters that sound incredible. Shaping options are pretty crazy, I would be ver surprised if you were underwhelmed. For the price of a couple of coffee you get (imo) one of the best software modular ecosystems out. Sound so was wondering if you guys thought you can get satisfying results with Drambo. I was wondering how you like Drambo's sound for timbres like this? I couldn't find demo's that explore this kind of I was looking at Drambo for it's Flexi sampler but considering it has FM synthesis and wavefolding and shaping Ronnieb wrote: ↑ Fri 5:54 amDrambo help encourage the jump?
